The Asantewaa Korang Royal Family has organised its second annual free health screening at the Akyem Asafo Funeral Grounds in the Eastern Region.
The initiative, spearheaded by Ohemaa Vera Nelson, a US-based member of the royal family, is part of ongoing efforts to bridge healthcare gaps in Akyem Asafo.
The screening covered general health check-ups and consultations, providing critical services such as blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI screenings to address lifestyle-related conditions.
Additionally, residents received eye and breast cancer screenings for early detection.
