The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged the Chief Executive Officer of Elmina Sharks, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, following an alleged attack on match officials during a Division One game against Swedru All Blacks.
The match, held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Nduom Sports Complex, concluded with a 1-0 defeat for Elmina Sharks.
Post-match, some players and officials of Elmina Sharks reportedly attacked the match officials.
According to the GFA, Dr Nduom has been charged with breaching Articles 34(1)(a) and 34(1)(b) of the GFA Division One League Regulations, 2019, as well as sections of the GFA Disciplinary Code.
