Ghana is set to host the CIR-Lecture Series Career Development and Entrepreneurship Conference, a major event aimed at addressing the growing challenges of unemployment and underemployment among the youth.
Scheduled to take place at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), the conference will bring together industry experts, career coaches, educators, and professionals to explore key opportunities in real estate, agri-business and aquaculture, food and beverages, and Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The event will feature workshops and networking sessions, offering participants insights into career assessments, job rotations, coaching, internships, entrepreneurship support, and continuous learning. "We believe that career development is an ongoing, lifelong process that helps individuals achieve career aspirations, enhance employability, and find purpose in their work," a member of the organizing team said.
The conference is open to unemployed individuals, recruitment agencies, policymakers, students, entrepreneurs, and business owners.
