United States-based Archbishop Kofi Adonteng Boateng, Head Pastor of Divine Power House of Divine Word International Ministries, visited Nsawam Prison on February 14, 2025, to initiate legal processes for the release of 100 inmates.
According to him, February, being the month of love, is an opportune time to extend compassion to the incarcerated.
He believes that not all inmates are criminals or have committed crimes, but due to certain unfortunate circumstances, they find themselves behind bars. "I came to Nsawam Prison today to release 100 prisoners from custody.
Today is one of the happiest days of my life because I have never seen people in this condition so happy before," Archbishop Adonteng-Boateng stated. "In life, it doesn't matter where you are; there is always hope.
