A teenage girl is in the grip of the Ghana Police Service for stealing an amount of Ghc 40,000 and gold at Twifo Praso in the Central Region.
According to a report by Kumasi-based Angel FM, she was said to have gone to the gold shop under the pretext of buying mercury.
However, upon realizing that the shop attendant had left the shop open, she made away with money from the drawer of the office desk at the shop.
The young lady collaborated with another girl whose identity is yet to be known.
