Founder of the Alive Chapel International, Prophet Elisha Salifu Amoako, his wife Mouha, and a domestic worker, Linda Bempah are to be charged with new offences for their roles in the accident involving the couple's son leading to the death of two young girls in October 2024.

In court on Monday, February 17, State Attorney Ebenezer Yaw Acquah indicated that in light of further study of the docket, the Attorney General's office would allow the police to conduct further investigations to determine the direction the prosecution should take.

He therefore prayed the court to withdraw the charge sheet against the accused persons.

Lawyers representing Prophet Amoako noted that they were hoping the prosecution would withdraw the charges but would not object to the withdrawal of the charge sheet. "I was hoping that they would enter nolle prosequi.
