Some youth in the North East Regional capital, Walewale, have registered their displeasure at the decision to impose a curfew on the region.
The Interior Minister has imposed a curfew on the people in the North East Region.
The curfew starts at 6 pm and ends at 6 am.
Also, the possession and use of arms have been banned, and individuals who are seen wielding them will be arrested and prosecuted.
