The Chairman of the Constitutional and Legal Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Frank Davies, has described the recent raid on the residence of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as deeply traumatising.

Speaking on JoyNews' *Newsfile* programme on Saturday, 15th February, Frank Davies expressed concern over the distress caused the Ofori-Atta family, particularly his wife, who was present during the operation.

The incident occurred on the afternoon of Tuesday, 11th February 2025, when a group of individuals, including some dressed in military and police uniforms, stormed Ofori-Atta's residence in Cantonments while ostensibly to arrest him.

It emerged later that he was out of the country.
