The issue of selective justice in Ghana's governance has been reignited, with the National Democratic Congress' (NDC) Director of Legal Services, Edudzi Tameklo, questioning why former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta has not been subjected to investigations despite numerous allegations against him.

Speaking on TV3's The KeyPoints on February 15, Tameklo expressed frustration over what he perceives as inconsistencies in how political figures are held accountable. "What exactly is the problem?

Is it that Ofori-Atta is above being declared wanted or being investigated?" he asked, highlighting the contrast between past and present administrations.

He referenced how former President John Mahama was once investigated by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, emphasizing, "Nana Addo caused the Office of the Special Prosecutor to investigate John Mahama, a former President.
