Deputy General Secretary of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mustapha Gbande, has questioned claims that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta was left traumatized after a National Security raid on his private residence in Cantonments, Accra.
Speaking on the issue, Gbande dismissed the concerns, arguing that the real trauma was suffered by Ghanaians who lost their livelihoods due to policies implemented under Mr.
Ofori-Atta's tenure as Finance Minister. "What is more traumatizing than the collapse of local banks, which left over 5,000 people jobless?
Innocent people lost their monthly stipends, homes were broken, and dreams were shattered because Ken Ofori-Atta decided to collapse nine local banks," he said.
