Newly appointed Sports Minister, Kofi Adams, has assured the public that those responsible for the murder of Asante Kotoko fan, Francis Yaw Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley, will face punishment.
The tragic incident occurred during a Ghana Premier League match between Nsoatreman FC and Kotoko at Nana Konamansah Park in Nsoatre.
The minister emphasized that the rule of law will prevail, and no one involved will be shielded from accountability, regardless of their status.
This promise comes after Adams visited the Kotoko camp on Friday, where he met with some club officials, including Kwesi Appiah and Nana Apinkra. " We will not just condemn the incident [Pooley's death] and leave it at that.
