Former Defence Minister Dominic Nitiwul has said that all officials of the previous Akufo-Addo administration are ready to render accountability for their actions in office.
However, he said the current government must use the right procedure to demand accountability from the past officials.
Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, February 12, the Bimbilla Lawmaker said "we are not cowards, we will account to anybody who wants us to account." Nitiwul further said that former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta duly notified the Office of the Special Prosecutor of his travel abroad to seek medical attention when he received the investigation from the OSP.
To that end, Nitiwul, said it was wrong for anybody to have sent armed men in military uniform to raid his home when he was not around.
