Some sections of Ghanaians have expressed shock that the current government is resorting to burning excavators in the fight against illegal mining.
To them, they were thinking the current government would use a better approach after criticizing Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo's government's decision to burn excavators.
This comes after there are reports that there was a raid on illegal miners in the Range Forest Reserve in the Eastern Region where four excavators have been burned.
The comments are that of disappointment because they expected better from John Dramani Mahama's government.
