Lawmaker for Builsa North, James Agalga has said that no rights of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta have been violated following the raid of his home by men in military uniforms.
He urged Mr Ofori-Atta to return home to answer questions from the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) Speaking in Parliament on Wednesday, February 12, the former Deputy Minister of Interior said "The Special Prosecutor has spoken, he says he extended an invitation to Ofori-Atta and his lawyers offered to present themselves for questioning but he said no, lawyers are not the subject of the investigation so he wants to talk to Ofori-Atta himself.
Could this be the reason why agents of our state security apparatus stormed his home? "I, as a lawyer, was struggling to establish for myself which of the provisions of our constitution have been violated.
I found none.
