Edward Bawa has explained the reasons for his reassignment from the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) to GOIL.
On Thursday, February 13, he announced that President John Dramani Mahama has reassigned him to head Goil as Group CEO.
The move forms part of the President's broader energy sector strategy, Mr Bawa wrote on his Facebook page on Thursday, February 13. "I have been reassigned to GOIL as Group CEO, effective immediately, as part of the President's broader energy sector strategy," he said.
His earlier appointment to GNPC took effect on took effect from January 17, 2025.
