The People's National Convention (PNC) has announced the end of nominations and filing, setting the stage for vetting. The opposition party has, therefore, scheduled Thursday and Friday to vet the total of 17 aspirants who filed to contest various positions during Saturday's Congress. A statement issued by the Congress Committee said the candidates have been grouped into two for the vetting. The first batch will be vetted between 10:00am and 1:00pm on Thursday and the second same time on Friday. Among aspirants who successfully filed for the elections are Bernard Anbataayela Mornah and David Apasera, who are both vying for the party's top spot as flagbearer.
