The Minister of Labour, Jobs and Employment, Mr Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, has expressed government's commitment to protect and improve the livelihoods of the country's workforce.
He indicate that the creation of decent jobs would not only impact the workers and increase productivity, but also ensure sustainability of businesses towards accelerating economic growth.
The Minister made these remarks at his maiden meeting with the staff of the Ministry on Tuesday in Accra.
The meeting sought to afford the Minister the opportunity to introduce himself and to also share his vision with the staff of the Ministry.
