The Council of Madina Zongo Chiefs, led by the Chief Imam, Sheikh Salmad Mohammed Alhassan, paid a courtesy call on the Vice President of the Republic, Prof. , at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, February 12, 2025.
The visit was primarily to congratulate President John Dramani Mahama, Vice President Prof.
Opoku-Agyemang, and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on their decisive victory in the 2024 general elections.
The delegation also used the occasion to discuss pressing issues affecting the Madina Zongo community, including land litigation, education, and overall development.
