Minister for Sports and Recreation, Kofi Adams, has assured the public that no individual involved in the murder of the Asante Kotoko football fan will be shielded from accountability.
Speaking in an interview with Starr FM, Adams emphasized that the rule of law will be upheld and those responsible will face justice, regardless of their status or affiliations. "We will not protect anyone involved in this crime-justice must be served," Adams declared.
He also praised Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr.
George Akuffo Dampare for his personal involvement in the case, describing it as a positive step towards ensuring a thorough investigation. "So far, I'm impressed with the interest the IGP has personally shown in this matter," he noted. "We are not going to leave this case at just public comments and initial actions.
