The Greater Accra Regional Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Anthony Nukpenu has denied allegation of using thugs to mar the Council of State elections held in the region on February 11.
In an interview with 3FM Johnnie Hughes on the Morning Show, the organizer said he was rather helping the security personnel to prevent the supposed thugs from causing confusion at the voting center. "The Thugs would have caused more chaos if they were not confronted.
I never brought thugs to the place.
I have found out that when people are misbehaving in this country and you look on, they think you are a coward," he said on February 12.
