Communications Minister, Samuel Nartey George has written to the office of the Attorney-General requesting for advice on a number of contracts signed under the erstwhile Communications Minister, Ursula Owusu-Ekuful.
In a statement by the Ministry on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, Sam George wants the Attorney-General, Dr.
Dominic Ayine to conduct a legal review of these contracts in line with President Mahama's vision of zero tolerance for corruption and value for money on all public-private partnerships.
Sam George has asked the Attorney General for a legal opinion on the contracts for the commercialisation of the e-Government Infrastructure Contract by Messrs Lebara Ghana Ltd and Smart Infraco Ghana Ltd.
