A 43-year-old Ghanaian woman, Alberta Obinim, and her 64-year-old husband, Elder Joshua, have died after being stabbed by their 22-year-old son. The attack, which also left their 17-year-old daughter critically injured, occurred late Sunday, August 18, 2024, night in their home on Barnard Road, Gorton. The incident unfolded around 11:20 p.m., when the son, whose name has not been released, allegedly attacked his family with a knife. The parents sustained life-threatening injuries and were rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment. Unfortunately, Elder Joshua succumbed to his injuries just hours after his wife Alberta was pronounced dead.
