An Islamic scholar and Re­searcher, Dr Abdul-Mush­in Baafi, was last Saturday honoured in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, by Aabar Al-Sanad Foundation, for his outstanding achievement in the academia. Dr Adel Abdallah Al Asiri, Chief Executive Officer of the foundation presented a citation crown, certificate of honour, copy of Holy Qur'an, among other gifts to Dr Baafi at a ceremony in Jeddah. Dr Baafi recently received doctorate degree with excellence in Information Technology and Islamic Studies from the Rabbani­yin International University in the US, becoming the first Ghanaian to receive PhD in that field. A citation in his honour lauded him for his remarkable achievement "we are pleased to extend our highest expression of congratulations and blessings. We wish you success in your academic and professional life.
