In a passionate address to pastors at the North East Regional Christian Council in Gambaga, Abednego Bandim, the Member of Parliament for Bunkprugu Nakpanduri, has urged religious leaders to pray for good governance.
He also tasked them to take proactive steps in addressing political issues and voicing their concerns when necessary.
According to Bandim, pastors need to move beyond the confines of prayer and actively engage in the pursuit of good governance.
He emphasized, "Sometimes you just don't need to pray for good government, you also need to take action, speak out your concerns, and talk when you need to." Bandim reiterated that while prayer is indeed a powerful tool in their spiritual life, it must be complemented by tangible actions aimed at fostering integrity and responsibility among leaders.
