The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA) has kicked off its Public Financial Management (PFM) Town Hall Meeting series to showcase developmental projects undertaken by the government since 2017. The event, which took place at the AMA City Hall in the Ashiedu Keteke Sub-Metropolitan District, attracted a large gathering of residents, local leaders, and key stakeholders. The Mayor of Accra, Hon. Elizabeth Sackey, in a welcome address, expressed the Assembly's commitment to improving the lives of residents through the efficient use of public funds. The Mayor emphasised the significant role of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in delivering crucial projects across the country, stating that the AMA, with the support of the government, had implemented various programs to improve the social and economic conditions of residents, regardless of political or ethnic affiliations.
