The Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu, has adopted the children of the late Kumasi Asante Kotoko fan, Francis Frimpong, popularly known as Nana Pooley.
According to a post by GHOne TV on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, the King has secured the children's education through his educational fund.
Further details of the sponsorship package were not provided.
Nana Pooley was tragically stabbed to death during violent clashes after Asante Kotoko's Ghana Premier League Match Day 19 fixture against Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Koramansah Park, which ended in a 1-0 defeat for Kotoko.
