The Asantehene, , chided one of his subjects during the sitting of the Kumasi Traditional Council on Monday, February 10, 2025.
According to opemsuo.com, the subject, who was named Appiah Kwarteng, claimed to have destooled Donyinahene Nana Osei Dankwa Brafo II.
Appiah Kwarteng is said to have invoked the Great Oath against the chief to prevent him from enstooling anyone other than his niece as the queen mother of Donyina.
He also invoked another oath challenging the royalty of Nana Brafo II, before subsequently performing the ram slaughtering rite to destool the chief.
