The Volta Regional Coordinating Council officially launched the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP), a newly implemented government initiative aimed at enhancing the region's road network, creating employment opportunities, and boosting economic growth. Led by the Government of Ghana in collaboration with key stakeholders, including J. A. Plant Pool Ghana Limited, a member of the Jospong Group of Companies, the Ministry of Local Government, Decentralisation & Rural Development, and the Ministry of Roads and Transport, the programme seeks to improve accessibility, reduce travel times, and increase economic empowerment for citizens.
