Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister of State for Government Communication, has praised the receptiveness of the Speaker of Parliament and his deputies towards contributions from new Members of Parliament (MPs).
Speaking on the matter in an interview on The Point of View on Channel One TV on Monday, Kwakye Ofosu highlighted the efforts made to encourage the participation of new MPs in parliamentary debates. "I think that the Speaker and his two deputies have been quite receptive to contributions from new MPs.
I recall that there was one session where the Second Deputy prioritised the contributions of new MPs, and he encouraged as many of us as possible to contribute to the debate.
I think that was a good exercise," Kwakye Ofosu stated.
