Ghana's Foreign Affairs Minister, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has pledged to introduce 24-hour passport services to improve efficiency and reduce delays in passport processing.

Speaking on TV3's KeyPoints on Saturday, 8th February, he emphasised the need for a more responsive and citizen-friendly passport system. "It is unacceptable for Ghanaians to endure long waiting periods for passports.

My vision is to establish a 24-hour service that ensures swift and reliable passport issuance," he stated.

Ablakwa, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for North Tongu Constituency, was sworn into office on Friday, 7th February.
