The Attorney-General (A-G), Dr Dominic Ayine has been told not to truncate prosecutions, especially the ones against members of his party, just because he has the power to do so.
That power belongs to Ghanaians and must be exercised in their interest, renowned journalist, Manasseh Azure Awuni said.
Manasseh further stated that President John Dramani Mahama is setting a dangerous example with the discontinuation of cases against officials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
Manasseh argues that for a president whose administration began the prosecution that resulted in the jailing of its own party people in the GYEEDA scandal, this is a new low and a faulty step.
