The Minister for Foreign Affairs-designate, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has announced plans to introduce a 24-hour passport office operation in Ghana to expedite passport processing.
Speaking on The KeyPoints with Alfred Ocansey on February 8, he emphasized that the move aligns with the NDC's vision for a 24-hour economy. "For the first time, we want the passport office to operate 24 hours.
This will be the first step towards the general 24-hour operation of our mission," he stated.
According to him, digitization will play a crucial role in this initiative, ensuring that passport applications, printing, and courier delivery are processed round the clock.
