Maame Ama Pratt, the newly appointed Press Secretary to Vice President Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, has admitted that her appointment came as a surprise, despite her active involvement in the 2020 and 2024 campaigns.
In an interview, she revealed that she had stepped back from frontline campaign activities due to her husband's selection as the running mate for Movement for Change. "At that point, I didn't think it was good for the optics for me to be that actively involved," she explained.
