Former CEO of the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, has criticized some New Patriotic Party (NPP) members for misrepresenting the party's performance in the 2024 presidential elections.

Expressing his frustration over what he sees as deliberate misinformation in a Facebook post, he took a swipe at those quoting a lower percentage to serve their own political interests. "Official results from the Electoral Commission show the NPP had 41.75% (42%) of votes in the 2024 elections, but we have had some NPP people hold press conferences and quote 38% as the figure we got.

I "f you will reduce your own party's percentage or use NDC propaganda figures because you want another person as flagbearer, then you are obviously not a 'correct' party person," he fumed.

Nkansah believes that some individuals within the NPP are deliberately downplaying the party's electoral performance to discredit its flagbearer and push their own political agenda.
