Vice Chairman of the Ad-hoc Committee tasked to probe the Appointments Committee chaos, Kwame Anyimadu-Antwi has voiced his disagreement with the committee's investigative approach emphasizing its deviation from Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin's directive.
This comes amid the Minority's call for the committee's Chairman, Emmanuel Bedzrah, to recuse himself citing traces of bias.
In an interview with Channel One News, Anyimadu-Antwi who is also the MP Asante Akim Central asserted that the Speaker had initially suggested that the committee's proceedings should not be public.
According to him, he was confused when the first witness was called in to testify publicly and thus excused himself to seek clarification from his caucus leaders.
