President John Dramani Mahama has accepted the decision of Mrs.
Elsie Addo Awadzi, the Second Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana, to take early retirement, effective February 28, 2025.
In an official statement released by the Presidency on Friday, February 7, 2025, the President expressed gratitude for Mrs.
Awadzi's distinguished service to both the Bank and the Republic of Ghana.
