A 36-year-old unemployed man, Foster Nyarko, has been convicted of stealing a Samsung Galaxy A54 5G mobile phone worth GH¢4,999 belonging to a Principal Administrator of the Human Resource Unit of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).

The convict, Nyarko visited the CHRAJ office in October last year (2024) to follow up on his job application.

However, upon realizing the office was empty, he stole the phone.

It also came up in Court that the convict Nyarko was already on the police wanted list.
