The Member of Parliament for Pusiga, Laadi Ayii Ayamba, has shared new insights into the disturbances that occurred during the Parliamentary vetting session on January 30.

She stated that the situation escalated when the Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, allegedly instructed the disconnection of cables and equipment, further worsening the disruption.

As a member of the Appointments Committee, Ayamba made these revelations while testifying before Parliament's Special Committee, which was established to investigate the incident.

She explained that the Minority initially expressed their decision to walk out of the session, refusing to participate in the vetting process.
