The Member of Parliament for Nkwanta North, John Oti Bless, has accused Minority Leader Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin of orchestrating disruptions during the vetting process by directing Minority members on the committee to create chaos.

Tensions escalated between Minority and Majority members of the Appointments Committee over the vetting of Kwabena Mintah Akandoh and Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, resulting in a heated standoff.

The disagreement stemmed from the Minority's push to reschedule the session to Friday, January 31, while the Majority insisted on proceeding as planned.

The impasse eventually led to a physical altercation, with tables and microphones being dismantled in what appeared to be an effort to stall proceedings.
