Ghana's sporting sector is in a state of crisis, according to Minister of State in charge of Government Communications, Felix Kwakye Ofosu.

He highlighted the urgent need for reforms while expressing confidence in Kofi Adams' ability to address the challenges ahead.

Adams, 49, was vetted by the Appointments Committee last week and is set to be sworn in by President John Mahama in the coming days.

Ghana's national football team, the Black Stars, recently failed to qualify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco—marking the first time since 2004 that the team will miss the tournament.
