English-born Ghanaian winger Samuel Amo-Ameyaw has made his debut for French outfit Racing Club Strasbourg. The teen sensation joined the Ligue 1 side on transfer deadline day from English Premier League side Southampton.
Amo-Ameyaw was handed a starting role in the match against Angers, playing from the right side of attack and lasted 80 minutes before being replaced Zoumana Diallo.
Despite showing glimpses of his enormous potential, Strasbourg suffered a 3-1 defeat and have been eliminated from the French Cup.
In a quick start to the game, Esteban Lepaul opened the scoring for the visitors before Felix Lamarechal levelled for Strasbourg in the 13th minute.
