Cole Palmer Chelsea's Cole Palmer was recently honoured as the PFA's Young Player of the Year, but the attacking midfielder insists that his primary focus is on helping the club secure trophies rather than pursuing individual honours. At 22 years old, Palmer had an impressive debut season with Chelsea, netting 22 goals in 34 Premier League games after his move from Manchester City. He also played in five of England's seven European Championship matches, including scoring in the final against Spain, although England lost. Reflecting on his season, Palmer told Sky Sports, "It was a great season for me personally, and I hope we can build on that this season. My main goal is to win trophies with Chelsea, and while individual awards are nice, my focus is on delivering for the club." Palmer, now the third Chelsea player to receive this award, following Scott Parker and Eden Hazard, recently extended his contract with the club until 2033.
