Some personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service National Headquarters successfully extinguished a car fire on Tuesday after receiving a distress call at Labone. The incident involved a Mercedes Benz with registration number GM 708-21 that caught fire after colliding with an electricity pole at the Labone Free Zones office. A video shared on X by SIKAOFFICIAL showed the driver confessing to dozing off, which led to the accident. According to the driver, he managed to get back on the road but immediately saw that the car had caught fire. The vehicle was almost burnt beyond recognition before the fire service arrived.
