A prominent member of the (NPP), , has strongly condemned the recent incident in which a group of armed military personnel reportedly raided the home of Lord Commey, the former Director of Operations at the Presidency, to seize his personal belongings.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo on February 5, 2025, expressed his concerns about the rising vigilantism in certain parts of the country, where individuals have been reportedly accosting former government appointees to seize their properties.

According to him, no individual is leaving or fleeing the country, and therefore, they should not be treated in an inappropriate manner.

He specifically stated that such incidents do not bode well for the country's democracy. "It doesn't speak well nor befit our democracy.
