The Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, has appealed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to assist the Ga Traditional Council (GTC) to build a new specialist hospital for children.
According to him, the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital and the Paramount Chief of Korle Bu, has given the GTC ten acres of land within the Hospital to build the specialist hospital for children.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II made the appeal when the new executive members of the church paid a courtesy call on him to introduce themselves.
The visit was to strengthen the relationship between the church and the GTC, and also discuss how to start some projects that were stalled after the Former President of the church left office.
