Former Hearts of Oak board member, Alhaji Amadu Brimah 'Akanbi', has proposed several measures to tackle hooliganism in the Ghana Premier League (GPL).

Akanbi's suggestions come in the wake of the violent incident at the Nana Koromansah Park, which resulted in the death of a Kumasi Asante Kotoko supporter.

According to Akanbi, limiting the number of venues for GPL matches could help curb hooliganism. "We could have chosen five stadia to host games.

Not every stadium is suitable for hosting games.
