The Network for Assin Development has called on President and the (NDC) leadership to acknowledge the constituency's importance and grant Assin North in the Central region a ministerial slot.
According to the group, over the years, Assin land has been a significant contributor to Ghana's development, offering valuable natural resources and human capital.
Despite these contributions, the district has often been overlooked in key appointments and allocations.
In a press statement, the group argued that this appointment would serve as a well-deserved recognition of Assin's role in national progress and a crucial step toward ensuring the region's continued development.
