The Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr.
Frank Amoakohene, has expressed satisfaction with the National Democratic Congress (NDC) significant electoral gains in the Ashanti Region during the 2024 general elections.
The party increased its parliamentary seats in the region to seven in the 2024 polls contributing to its overwhelming parliamentary majority nationwide.
The NDC currently holds 183 parliamentary seats, with four independent Members of Parliament caucusing with them.
