Anthony Twum Barimah, a member of the communications team for Kotoko, has attributed the tragic death of Francis Yaw Frimpong, also known as Nana Pooley, to ongoing tensions between the club and teams in the Brong Ahafo Region.
Twum Barimah expressed concern over an apparent pattern of hostility towards the club in the region, citing past incidents involving Kotoko.
He mentioned that last season, the club's operations manager and some supporters were removed from the stadium in Dormaa Ahenkro despite fulfilling all rules and mandates.
This season, Twum Barimah noted that similar incidents occurred in Berekum, and these events have contributed to the tragic death of Nana Pooley.
