A video circulating on social media points to the fact that a wall has been built around the remains of the statue of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
It is not clear who sponsored the wall, but people living in the area are of the view that it is a move to prevent further destruction of the statue.
It is not clear if the statue will be erected again by the current government.
It will be remembered that after President John Dramani Mahama's inauguration, a statue erected in memory of Nana Addo Dankwa Akfuo-Addo was destroyed by some unknown people.
